SUMMARY: An accessible look at Grant Morrison’s legendary comic series The Invisibles, the book takes an issue by issue look at this complicated series and places it in a social and political context. It also includes an 80 page interview with Morrison.
MY THOUGHTS: Reading The Invisibles was a life changing experience. I spent a long time pondering what it all meant, and that ultimately led to this book. This project got me in touch with Sequart, which led to the documentary on Grant, which opened the door to pretty much everything else I’ve done. It all started here. If you’re doing a reread of the series, pick up this book and read along.
